# Assist GPT Prompt Attributes List

Hi All,

Does anyone have a list of the Assist GPT prompt attributes?

I’m trying to identify how I ask it to read from my knowledge content and or a specific folder in the knowledge base content?

When you are creating the Prompt Instructions, you can click the Insert Attribute button to show the list of possible attributes to insert:

There is no option, at this time, for searching an entire folder of content.

**Understanding Knowledge Attributes**

1. **Title:** Refers to the current article title.
2. **Content or Selected HTML:** This attribute allows you to send the entire content in HTML format. If you select a specific portion of the content, only that selected HTML will be sent to the Generative AI for output generation.
3. **Content or Selected Text:** Similar to the above, but it sends the content in plain text format. This means the format and structure of the content are not preserved.
4. **User Input:** When you select this attribute, you can also provide a label for the user input. If you include this attribute in the prompt instructions, the Knowledge console will prompt the author for text input when they click on the prompt. Once they provide the input and click ‘generate,’ the AI will generate the response accordingly.

I hope this helps clarify the use of these attributes!

We will soon have the ability to read the content from specific folder to create an article as of now you can only work with the content from the current article.
