# Description different Topic search settings

Hi, is there available an description manual of what the different settings can enable in search rules?  
And if you change settings, when will the change be active to users, instant og the day after?

Hi Peder, the subject expert says:  
The portal configuration is described in detail in the _Knowledge Manager’s Guide to Portals_ from the product documentation suite.

Changes in the attributes appearing in the screenshot are reflected in the portal immediately.
