Customer wants to know if it is possible to remove the published article from a portal. They want to make updates to the published article, but not sure how that can be done without removing the article on KB.
The article does not have to be removed from the portal to be updated.
While you are working on the article, the portal will continue to display the current published version of the article. Only when you publish will the changes be visible in the portal.
Even if you really need to remove an article from a portal, you still don’t have to delete it. All you need to do is remove the article from the topic that is selected for the portal.
Does the customer have an account in eGain University or the Support portal? They must have. Do remind them to look at the training material there. It will help them resolve many of the small questions that pop up. Thanks!
