Is there more information about the labels used in the Data Storage overview provided in the consoles.
More specifically what “Other” refers to.

Hi Emma, please see below response from SME:

Disk usage is obtained primarily from the active database with the exception of the following data groups

  1. Virtual Assistant Data : Archive service will make an API call to the virtual Assistant system for fetching the disk usage and then then persist the value in the active database (table egsm_disk_usage_snapshot_extn )
  2. Messaging Hub Data : Archive service will make an API call to the messaging hub for fetching the disk usage and then then persist the value in the active database (table egsm_disk_usage_snapshot_extn )
  3. Analytics Data : Mediator service will populate the analytics disk usage in the active database (table egsm_disk_usage_snapshot_extn)

Virtual Assistant, Messaging Hub and Analytics Data usage will be updated daily

Total data Storage category = Active database size + Virtual Assistant Data+Messaging Hub Data+Analytics Data + Size of the Inline KB images in s3 bucket

Other = Total data Storage category - sum of the remaining Categories(except other categories)
